The Kenya Education Management Institute held its 6th Congregation for the Award of Diploma in Education Management on 8th April 2022 at KEMI grounds. The ceremony was conducted virtually, allowing graduands to join in from all parts of the world.  The guest of honor was Madam Nereah Olick, (Director of Primary Education Ministry of Education, State Department for Early Learning & Basic Education) who was represented by Ms. Martina Muoki

Ag. Deputy Director Management Development Directorate, Mr. Wycliffe Wasike was the MC for the event.

The graduation was a sigh of relief for the Cohort 8 graduands who had to wait patiently for over a year to graduate due to the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic.

While making his remarks, the CEO KEMI, Dr. Maurice Odondo applauded the graduands for committing their resources and time to undertake the diploma program. He reiterated that the institute is committed to provide quality education to education managers in Kenya.

The guest of honor was represented by Ms. Martina Muoki of the Ministry of Education. She ascertained the need for education managers to take up professional courses offered by KEMI to better manage their institutions.
