This course aims to equip school principals with essential leadership skills to effectively steer their institutions towards achieving improved learning outcomes. Emphasis will be placed on real-world applications in the secondary school context. This course will cover: foundations of institutional leadership, education legal frameworks in Kenya, strategic leadership and school planning, performance management, human resource capital, communication and stakeholder engagement, data management, and best practices in institutional leadership.
