COURSE OVERVIEW

This course aims to equip teachers and school counsellors with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to enable them to promote learners’ psychological well-being, manage their environment, and navigate through personal life challenges. It covers key aspects like personal development, mental health and psychosocial support, basic counselling skills, counselling theories and approaches, counselling processes, ethics in counselling, and discipline in learning institutions.

 School Heads and Deputy Principals, Guidance and Counselling Department Heads or Teacher-Counsellors, Education Officers and Quality Assurance Officers, BoM Members and School Administrators, Newly Recruited Teachers and Intern Teachers, Teachers Training College Lecturers and Tutors.
