Business Development Management Directorate

The Business Development Directorate is a strategic arm of the Institute, established to drive growth, enhance resource mobilization, and expand the reach and impact of the organization’s core mandate. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Directorate provides visionary leadership and strategic direction in aligning business development initiatives with the Institute’s overall mission, vision, and long-term sustainability goals.

The Directorate is responsible for shaping and executing strategies that position the Institute as a leading institution in education management and capacity building. It plays a pivotal role in identifying opportunities for growth, fostering strategic partnerships, and ensuring financial resilience through diversified funding and innovative service offerings.

The functions of the directorate include:

  • Formulation, implementation and review of the Business Development policies, procedures, strategies, standards and guidelines;
  • Development and implementation of appropriate business development strategy including developing both short term and long-term business plans of the of the institute;
  • Coordinating business development products and services;
  •  Conducting systematic analysis of the institute’s business positioning in order to establish strengths and map out scope for growth;
  •  Recommendation of appropriate business development products for IGA for the Institute;
  • Provision of feedback to the management on any market perceptions that may be relevant to the improvements in service delivery
  • Development of proposals for business development and promotion of the Institute’s core business;
