The Kenya Education Management Institute (KEMI), is a Management Development Institute which serves as the Capacity Building Agency of the Ministry of Education.

KEMI is mandated under Legal Notice No. 19/ 2010 to provide Education Management Training, conduct research and offer consultancy services in the Education Sector.

KEMI has completed reviewing its Strategic Plan 2023–2027. The reviewed Plan is aligned with the Fourth Medium Term Plan of Vision 2030, Government’s development priories as outlined in the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), Performance Contracting Guidelines, and the guidelines for the preparation of the MDAs fifth generation strategic plans (2023-2027) issued by the National Treasury and Economic Planning.

In line with our commitment to stakeholder engagement and collaboration, KEMI is reaching out to its stakeholders for input and comments in readiness for finalization of the Strategic Plan 2023-2027. Your valuable input and comments will play a crucial role in shaping the direction and priorities of KEMI during the Plan period.
