On February 25, 2025, school leaders participating in the KEMI and VVOB INCREASE program visited Machakos Comprehensive School to observe the program’s impact on school leadership. Dr. Heidy Rombouts, Director General of Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid—Belgium, graced the visit praised the school’s progress, and reaffirmed Belgium’s support for the initiative.
During the visit, KEMI CEO Dr. Maurice Odondo encouraged school leaders to apply their training and urged continued support from the Belgian government. Five school leaders shared testimonials on how the INCREASE program has transformed their leadership skills.
Machakos Comprehensive School showcased its modern ICT library and student clubs, highlighting its holistic approach to education. The visit reinforced the significance of professional development for school leaders in enhancing educational excellence and student growth.
